In the last few days, ICE has escalated its efforts to round up, cage, and deport members of the Haitian community in Springfield, OH, who have recently lost the Temporary Protected Status designation. The local Haitian community has asked allies to act, to show up, and show out in solidarity. They are inviting faith, clergy, and lay leaders, as well as secular allies to come to Springfield from across the country between now and Sunday, August 30.

Call to demand the release of Haitian Pastors caged by ICE.
Script: My name is (insert your name and any affiliation). I am calling to urge you to intervene immediately in the detention of Rev. Adrien and Rev. Dumano two Haitian pastors from Springfield, Ohio, and to do all you can, both privately and publicly, to facilitate their release.These two pastors are significant peacemakers and provide critical support for the Haitian community in this time of trauma and uncertainty. These pastors have been removed from the community and we demand that they be returned and provided due process.
